If you're looking for some fun for the whole family on Saturday, GBRFF has a great range of activities that includes:
  • Feature film Rip Tide at 11am on Sat 9 Sept in Cinema 1 - THIS FILM IS NOT IN CINEMAS YET
  • FREE Kids Film Workshop with Matt Whitton at 10am - 11am at Alma Bay Beach (Sat & Sun)
  • FREE Make A Movie On Your Mobile with Ben Green at 10am - 11am the Arcadia Village Hotel poolside Marquee (Sat & Sun)
  • Student film screenings (Two sessions: JCU at 2pm and Griffith University at 3.30pm) in Cinema 2 - $10 all day ticket and documentaries.

Comedian Sean Murphy is our special MC for the day!

Join comedian Sean Murphy as he presents a special GBRFF edition of his show Kids' Party Confidential. A hit from Sydney to Singapore, brace yourself for hilarity and highly interactive high-jinks as Sean presents the best pre-movie party ever! The show is followed by the Musos Youth Talent Quest, then Pre-Movie Games in the theme of our family day film, finishing with the feature animation 'Surf's Up'.

Kids' Party Confidential dishes the dirt on how to create the best fiesta ever. Children laugh thinking it's fiction, adults cry knowing it's true and everyone learns how to tie a serious balloon sword!60-minute family comedy, suitable for adults and children ages 5 to 12.

Magnetic Island Musos Club and GBRFF present the 2017 Youth Talent Quest with MC Sean Murphy. Choose from two categories of Dance & Movement OR Voice & Instrument.

CASH PRIZES will be awarded on the day!
To enter, download the Registration Form and arrive at the Marquee stage at 12noon on Sunday 10 Sept.
